In the same vein, another 2015 guber candidate on the platform of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Dr Polycarp Gankon has again emerged their flag bearer for the 2019 general elections in Kaduna State. The duo emerged unopposed at their various party primaries which held at their state party secretariates in Kaduna State. Dr Gankon speaking sgortly after he was unanimously adopted by delegates of the party to fly their flag at the state secretariat expressed happiness that his party has again confidence on him by an overwhelming endorsement by the delegates that attended the primaries.
According to him, “If you see the manifesto of APGA, it is all progressive. I have come to tell people of Kaduna that with APGA, we have hope. By my virtue of discipline, I served in ABU for 25 years, as an agriculture expert, it will be used to transform the state,” he assured. He explained that he agreed to come out to contest again, because he sees that there is a need to protect the collective destiny. “There is always a thin line between success and failure. Ours will be success,” he assured. On his part, Alhaji Sa’eed who said he was a founding member of the APC based on the merger that came in to be which led to the ruling party and played a vital role in APC as a dominant player but the activities of the party in the state has left so much to be desired and as such all efforts that we have made to see that things changed has being in vain. “Some of us are not being considered as members of the party. Whatever we said seem not to be listened too. Whatever we asked for is never considered.”
