Yobe Killing: Parents, Students Protest in Lagos

Scores of parents and students Monday staged a peaceful walk to the office of Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN) in protest against the killing of students of Federal Government College, Yobe state and others who fell victims of insurgent attacks by an Islamic sect, Boko Haram.

The protesters, who were aggrieved due to the calamity that befell the victims, went to  the governor’s office to condemn the killing of the 43 students who were killed by Boko Haram sect after attacking Bunu Yadi community, Yobe state and burning their hostel, classrooms and several houses.

The protesters, who all dressed in black attire, also chanted different dirges, thereby calling on the Federal Government, state governors and the military agencies in the country to end the insurgency immediately.
